Executive Coaching
Hear yourself in a new way.
Executive coaching for leaders navigating consequential decisions, difficult dynamics and complex organizational questions.
The more responsibility you carry, the fewer places you have to think completely out loud.
Not because you're alone. Because the people around you are part of what you're leading.
Your senior team, board, colleagues and other trusted people can be invaluable sources of perspective. They also have relationships to the questions you're carrying and the decisions you'll make.
Executive coaching creates a different kind of partnership. A place to examine the whole question with someone who has no stake in the answer, but knows how to challenge the thinking behind it.
Sometimes what changes a decision isn't another opinion. It's a question you haven't considered yet.
Every session is designed to create more choice.
Coaching is built around the real questions, decisions and dynamics you're navigating now. The goal is to see more of what's possible.
Bring the decision, relationship, conflict, question or organizational challenge that matters now.
The Real Work
Julia listens for assumptions, beliefs, patterns and what may be missing, then asks the questions that challenge the frame and take the thinking further.
What’s Underneath
A different question can reveal a different path. When you see more of what’s possible, you have more choice about what comes next.
What Becomes Possible
Why Julia
A good question depends on knowing where to listen.
Julia brings deep coaching practice and decades of organizational leadership experience to every conversation.
She spent 17 years as a CEO and has since worked alongside CEOs, senior teams and boards across sectors. She understands organizational systems, governance, power, conflict, accountability, competing priorities and decisions with real consequences.
That means less time explaining how leadership works and more time examining what's actually happening.
She knows organizations well enough to know where to listen. And coaching well enough to know what to ask.
“As an Executive Director, I benefited from Julia’s supportive, insightful but also honest and unflinching coaching style. Her empathy, expansive business and nonprofit acumen, sense of humor and generous view of what is possible all contribute to her ability to help people through some of their most challenging professional periods.”

Working Together
The work begins with what you are carrying now.
Coaching engagements are designed around the leader and the work, rather than a predetermined curriculum. Sessions focus on the decisions, relationships, questions and organizational dynamics that matter now.
The Engagement
60-minute sessions
2 to 4 times per month
Location
Virtual and/or in person
Coaching may be engaged directly by an individual leader or sponsored by an organization. When coaching is organization-sponsored, the parameters of confidentiality and communication are established clearly at the outset.
The first conversation is simply a chance to talk about what you're navigating, what you're looking for from coaching and whether working together makes sense.
Bring the question you are carrying.
You don't need to know exactly what coaching should look like before we talk. Start with what's happening now.
